Justin Insurance is owned by a partnership whose experience in the equine insurance industry dates back to 1931, when James Clay Ward started The Clay Ward Agency in Paris, Kentucky. The Clay Ward Agency continues to be the leading insurer of thoroughbred horses with an unmatched  reputation of integrity and service. When the decision was made to enter into the performance horse industry, Clay Ward began a partnership with June Roberts McGee.
A lifetime of experience with horses and business made the founder and managing partner of Justin Insurance, June Roberts McGee, uniquely suited to the equine insurance industry. Advancing through the ranks of junior, college and professional rodeo, June qualified several times for the National Finals in barrel racing. She also enjoyed team roping and more recently has become an accomplished Non-Pro Cutter. Her firsthand knowledge of the horse business and her love of “horse people” led her in 1991 to enter the equine insurance industry.
Together, the owners of Justin Insurance have nearly 100 years of equine insurance experience. That experience combined with unmatched service has made Justin Insurance the choice of many of the nation’s leading horsemen. |
